FDS Top Drives
FDS top drives come equipped with an integrated swivel, backup leg, thread saver and traveling block. Every single FDS Top Drive in HENDERSON’s inventory meets all applicable and stringent ISO and API quality management requirements. Ideal for shallow-to-medium depth rigs, FDS Top Drives are capable of reaching max makeup torque reaching up to 36,200 ft.-lbs. in 250-ton models and breakout torques from 19,000 in our 150-ton models to as much as 36,200 ft.-lbs. in our 250-ton models. These ratings help to ensure you don’t over-torque your drilling string. HENDERSON’s FDS Top Drives come with a standard rated capacity of 150 to 250-tons, pull down capacity from 15-25 tons, and running ranges as high as 120 RPM at a max of 26,000 ft.-lbs. of continuous torque.
